The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, October 21, 2013 announces that 4,246 out of 10,396 passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this October 2013.

University of the Philippines- Diliman (UPD) was named top performing school for October 2013 CPA board exam with 98.81% passing rate.
De La Salle University-Manila (DLSU) is second top performing school according to PRC with 92.86 passing percentage. Completing the top 5 places for October 2013 CPA board exams are Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), University of Santo Tomas(UST) and Bicol University-Daraga (BU-D).
