The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 announced the rescheduling of the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) also known as LET, Physicians (BLEP) and Sanitary Engineers (BLESE) scheduled on July and August in the examination calendar for year 2014.
According to PRC, LET scheduled on July 27, 2014 will be moved to August 17, 2014. Physician or medical board exam set on August 16, 17, 23, 24, 2014 will be scheduled on August 23, 24, 30, 31, 2014. In addition, the Sanitary Engineering board exam on August 12, 13, 14, 2014 will be moved to August 26, 27, 28, 2014. Note that the deadline of filing for the said professional exams were also moved.
The Professional Regulatory Boards for Professional Teachers, Medicine and Sanitary Engineering recommended the rescheduling of the licensure examination to give way to the centennial anniversary celebration of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) which coincides with the July 27, 2014 BLEPT.
The PRC, in its issuance of Commission Resolution No.838 series of 2014 mentioned that, “there is a need to reschedule the BLEPT as well as other licensure examinations that will be affected including the Physician and the Sanitary Engineer licensure exam to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the exams”.
