The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Nursing (BoN) released official results of November 29-30, 2015 NLE(Nurse Licensure Examination) or known as Nursing Board Exam in 24 working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as officially announced online.
UPDATE: PRC on Friday, January 8, 2016 announced that 9,114 out of 18,500 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination.

PRC administered the NLE in several testing locations nationwide: Manila, Baguio City, Laoag, Angeles, Cabanatuan, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro (CDO) and Bacolod.
PRC Baguio announced that a total of 3,363 examinees took the exams in Baguio, Laoag, Dagupan and Cabanatuan cities.
The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Perla G. Po, Gloria B. Arcos, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Glenda S. Arquiza and Florence C. Cawaon, Members.
Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2016-2019. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
November 2015 NLE consists of five (5) parts namely: Nursing Practice I (Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice), Nursing Practice II (Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child), Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part A), Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part B) and Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part C).
The examinations draw basic knowledges, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e. Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, adults and aged and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.
Probable Release of November 2015 NLE Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 2014- 784 and Pursuant to Section 7 (d) of R.A. No. 8981, the target date of release of NLE results is on Saturday, January 16, 2016. Based on computation, it falls on 48 calendar days or in 29 working days after the last day of exam.
The computed number of working days excludes Saturdays, Sundays and 5 holidays namely: Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas Day (December 25), Rizal Day (December 30), New Year's Eve (December 31) and New Year's Day (Januaruary 1).
Since it's not usual that PRC release results of nursing on Saturday, examinees are advised to monitor results earlier than the target date (second week of January) until the third week of January 2016.
PRC Board News expects that results are out online between January 11 to 22, 2016 or in 25-33 working days.
In November 2014 exams, PRC released results in 29 working days. A total of 15,292 out of 26,690 passed the Nurse Licensure Examinations.
In May 2015 exam, results out online in just 16 working days as 9,707 out of 17,891 passed the nursing board exam.

December 26, 2015 Update: Dr. Carl Balita, a reliable source in terms of exact release date of nursing board exam results posted a riddle on Facebook: "The Mountain SeaGoat exits a dozen dawns from the day that the dream and the dreamer become ONE...." Exam takers have interpreted the riddle with January 8, 2016 as the judgment day. The 'mountain Seagoat' pertains to Zodiac symbol for Capricorn (December 22-January 20). The dozen (12) is being subtracted from the last day (20) with the result of 8 (Friday, January 8).

In the recent nurse board exam (May 2015), PRC named West Visayas State University- La Paz, Chinese General Hospital Colleges and Silliman University as the top performing schools per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. These schools garnered 100-percent passing rate.
In November 2014 exams, PRC list of top performing schools includes Xavier University (XU), Saint Paul University-Iloilo (SPU-I), Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation (RTRMF) and Saint Paul University- Tuguegarao (SPU-T).
