The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Nursing (BoN) released the official results of June 5 and 6, 2016 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) also known as nursing board exam in 9 working days after the last day of exam. The June 2016 NLE results - complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as officially released online.
PRC on Friday, June 17, 2016 announced that 6,183 out of 14,184 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination. The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

PRC administered the NLE in several testing locations nationwide: Manila, Baguio City, Laoag, Angeles, Cabanatuan, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro (CDO) and Bacolod.
The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Perla G. Po, Gloria B. Arcos, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Glenda S. Arquiza and Florence C. Cawaon, Members.
Schedule of on-line registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The June 2016 NLE is composed of five (5) parts namely: Nursing Practice I (Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice), Nursing Practice II (Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child), Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part A), Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part B) and Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part C).
The examinations draw basic knowledges, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e. Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, adults and aged and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

According to PRC Resolution No. 2015-948 and Pursuant to Section 7 (d) of R.A. No. 8981, the target date of release of NLE results is on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Based on computation, it falls on 32 calendar days or in 21 working days after the last day of exam. The computed number of working days excludes four Saturdays and Sundays.
PRC Board News expects that results are out online between June 17 and July 8 or in 12-24 working days.
In May 2015 exam, results were out online in just 16 working days as 9,707 out of 17,891 passed the nursing board exam.
In November 2015, results were out online in 24 working days. PRC named 9,114 out of 18,500 who have passed the exam.
Speculations and updates before the release of June 2016 NLE Results:

In May 2015 nursing board exams, West Visayas State University- La Paz, Chinese General Hospital Colleges and Silliman University were recognized as the top performing schools per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. These schools garnered 100-percent passing rate.
In November 2015 exams, PRC named University of Santo Tomas (UST), Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU)-Batac and Xavier University (XU) as the top performing schools.
