MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will soon announce the list of topnotchers (top 10 passers) in the August 2025 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT). View on this page for sub-professional level list of topnotchers.
CSC will release the CSE-PPT results (complete list of passers) on Monday, October 13, 2025, 64 calendar days after the exam, based on latest Examination Advisory No. 15, s. 2025.
"Please be advised that the new schedule for the actual release of passers/eligibles for the 10 August 2025 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), Professional and SubProfessional levels, will be on 13 October 2025," CSC said.The agency said that 331,675 individuals took the CSE Subprofessional Level exams.

The second regular CSE-PPT this year was conducted in 95 testing centers nationwide on Sunday, August 10, 2025. It was one the biggest conduct of the civil service exams in a single day.
CSC announced that passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

How to view CSE-PPT results?
The complete list of successful examinees of the August 0, 2025 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test may be accessed here or on the official website of CSC.
Schedule for the release of Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Office will be announced. Passers are advised to verify first the availability of and the requirements and procedures in claiming their Certification of Eligibility before proceeding to the CSC office.
Moreover, examinees, both passed and failed, may generate their individual rating through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed on the CSC website.
Previous Examinations
The March 2025 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for the Subprofessional level was topped by Gerald Son B. Borilla III from the National Capital Region (NCR), who earned the highest rating of 97.19%. Following closely was Reid Chrysler C. Manares from Region XII with 96.26%.
In the August 2024 CSE-PPT Subprofessional exam, Irmengard Julie G. Gelsano of Region VIII secured the top spot with a rating of 97.00%, while Lleara Christel Rovea L. Fiesta from Region I placed second with 96.72%.
For the March 2024 exam, the highest scorer was Mia Kimberly F. Noche from Region IV, attaining a rating of 97.24%. She was followed by Jacqueline D. Corral from the Bicol Region with 96.87%.
During the August 2023 Subprofessional exam, Leonard Brian E. Nicolas from NCR led the passers with a rating of 90.83%, while Dave C. Marinas from Cagayan Valley ranked second with 90.26%.
In March 2023, Western Visayas’ LM Tricia T. De La Cruz topped the Subprofessional level with a 90.24% rating, followed closely by Davao Region’s Gwen L. Ambrona with 90.17%.
Meanwhile, the August 2022 CSE-PPT saw Southern Tagalog’s Rey Timothy H. Nalica claim the top spot with 94.77%, with fellow region-mate Francois Claire M. Manrique placing second with 94.19%.
