On Sunday, September 29, 2013, thousands of Education course graduates (Elementary and Secondary) will take LET (Licensure examination for Teachers) - teachers' board exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board for Professional Teachers released program for board licensure examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). The announcement also includes coverage of examination.
PRC said that separate test booklets will be used for the General Education (GE) and Professional Education (PE) subjects for both elementary and secondary levels in September 29, 2013 LET.

For Elementary Teacher Examinees Only
Coverage of examination includes details for General Education (GE), Professional Education (PE) and specialization.
GE covers English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences subjects.
PE (Elementary and Secondary) is composed of teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, education technology, curriculum development, facilitating learning, child and adolescent development, assessment of student learning, developmental reading, field study and practice teaching.
There are 10 specializations for Secondary Teacher with exam coverage depends on your chosen course: English, Filipino, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies or Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education).
PRC and Board of Professional Teachers said that in order to pass September 2013 LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
