MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing schools in the September 2017 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) board exam. The result was released on Thursday, September 7, 2017 or in three (3) working days after the exam.
PRC named University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the top performing school for REE board exam with 98.67% or 74 out of 75 passed the exams. It was followed by Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sto. Tomas with 96.36% or 53 out of 55 passed.
PUP-Sto. Tomas also led the schools for RME board exam, 98.31% ( 58 out of 59 passed). Western Institute of Technology ranked second with 90.41% or 66 out of 73 passed the exams.
PRC administered the second board exam for electrical engineers this year on September 2 and 3 (REE) and September 4 (RME) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban and Zamboanga.
