MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released result of August 2018 Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam on Friday, August 31 or in four (4) working days after the exam.
Fernando Murillo Remojo Jr. of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)- Lucban aced the Mechanical Engineer board exam with 92.65%. Alwyn Dominique Paderes Panoso of Mapua University (MU) ranked second with 92.60%.
Meanwhile, Dionisio Abancio Java III of Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Visayas and Gerald Satumba Mendoza of MFI Foundation Inc. led the passers in the CPM board exam.
PRC administered the mechanical engineering board exam in various testing centers nationwide: Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao and Lucena.

In the September 2017 exams, Jay Nelson Talip Corbita of Xavier University topped the board with 92.20%. Von Eric Abag Damirez of University of Batangas ranked second with 90.15%.
Elso Umbao Elumbaring Jr. of Notre Dame University (NDU) led the passers in the September 2016 ME board exam with 90.15%. Edcel Reblora Fortes of Sorsogon State College - Sorsogon came in second place with 89.40%.
