MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the topnotchers or top 10 passers in the October 2018 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam as results are released on Friday, October 26, 2018 or in four (4) working days after the exam.
Daniel Dilag Cabrales of Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Manila topped the ECE board exam with 92.00%. It was followed by Justine Allen Cayanan Arciga of Holy Angel University (HAU) with 90.30%.
Arciga also topped the Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam with 94.00%.
The Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) administered the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro,Cebu, Davao, Lucena and Tuguegarao on October 20 and 21 (ECE) and October 22 (ECT).

RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068, the target release of results for the recent ECE and ECT board exam is on Friday, October 26 or in four (4) working days after the last day of exam.
But we advise examinees to monitor announcement of results as early as Thursday, October 25.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2017 Electronics Engineering board exam, Dino Dominic Forte Ligutan of De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila topped the ECE board with 94.40%. Meanwhie, Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Visayas, Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU), Saint Louis University (SLU), Rizal Technological University (RTU) and Malayan Colleges Laguna graduates tied on highest spot for ECT with 95.00%.
In the October 2016 exams, Masaru Quemquem Nakaegawa of University of Santo Tomas (UST) aced the ECE board with 92.30%. University of the East (UE) - Caloocan, De La Salle University (DLSU) - Dasmarinas and TUP-Visayas alum had identical grade of 93.00% sharing the top place for ECT.

The consortium of universities of medical engineering and dentistry (COMEDK) is carrying out the COMEDK 2019. The last date to request UGET will be in the month of January. COMEDK UGET is a computer-based test for admission to several engineering universities with more than 20,000 seats in Karnataka that are part of the consortium
