MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing school in the September - October 2018 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on November 6, 2018 or in five (5) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the second Physician board exam this year on September 8-9 and October 27-28 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao. The third and fourth day of exam was originally scheduled on September 15 and 16 but rescheduled to later date due to onslaught of typhoon “Ompong.”

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the September 2017 exams, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) and Saint Luke's College of Medicine (SLCM) were the top performing schools obtaining 100% passing rate, 122 and 83 takers passed, respectively. West Visayas State University (WVSU) - La Paz placed second with 99.01% or 100 out of 101 passed.
In the September 2016 exams, Pamantsan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and SLCM led the schools with 100% passing rate, 115 and 75 examinees passed, respectively. University of the Philippines (UP) -Manila ranked second with 98.67% or 148 out of 150 passed the exams.
