MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing schools in the October 2019 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam on Monday, October 21, 2019 or in six (6) working days after the last day of exam.
PRC administered the second CPA licensure exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban and Tuguegarao on October 5, 6 and 12.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the same period last year, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the schools with 94.52% or 69 out of 73 passed. De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila followed with 86.84% or 66 out of 76 hurdled the tests.
In the October 2017 exams, UP-Diliman also led the board with 100% passing rate or 69 of its takers successfully hurdled the exams. De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila was on second place with 92.66% or 101 out of 109 passed the tests.
In the October 2016 exams, UPD was also hailed as the top performing school with 100% passing rate. University of Santo Tomas (UST) came in second with 90.72% or 352 out of 388 passed.
