MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released result of October 2019 Fisheries Technology board exam given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
PRC and the Board of Fisheries, composed of Westly R. Rosario, Chairman and Catalino R. Dela Cruz, Member, administered the Fisheries Technologist board exam on October 23 and 24, 2019.

University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) - Iloilo is consistently topping the Fisheries Technology licensure exam in the past years. In the October 2018, 2017 and 2016 exams, UPV topped the schools with 97.30, 98.97 and 97.01%, respectively.

According to PRC Resolution No. 1127 series of 2018, the target release of October 2019 Fisheries Technologist board exam results is on Tuesday, October 29 or in three (3) working days after the exams.
