The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced today the postponement/cancellation of August 2020 scheduled board exams due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) crisis.
PRC mentioned the following reasons on their decision to postpone the exams:
The administration of the following scheduled August 2020 licensure examinations is hereby POSTPONED:
PRC said that new schedule of these licensure examinations will be posted on the PRC website and PRC social media accounts.
UPDATE: 2021 PRC board exam schedule
PRC mentioned the following reasons on their decision to postpone the exams:
- government imposed restrictions
- other unforeseeable circumstances because of extended community quarantines
- ensure the health and safety of PRC examinees, Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and examination personnel
The administration of the following scheduled August 2020 licensure examinations is hereby POSTPONED:
- Sanitary Engineers Licensure Examination (August 4-6, 2020)
- Mining Engineers Licensure Examination (August 4-6, 2020)
- Licensure Examination for Physical and Occupational Therapists (August 8-9, 2020)
- Licensure Examination for Veterinarians (August 11-13, 2020)
- Licensure Examination for Nutritionists and Dietitians (August 16-17, 2020)
- Licensure Examination for Guidance Counselors (August 19-20, 2020)
- Licensure Examination for Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics (August 22-23, 2020)
- Social Workers Licensure Examination (August 25-27, 2020)
- August 30-31, 2020 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination
PRC said that new schedule of these licensure examinations will be posted on the PRC website and PRC social media accounts.

June 26 Update: Postponed June, July and August 2020 board exam rescheduled in 2021
Since March, all scheduled licensure exams were postponed as a precautionary measure of the government to prevent spread of contagious COVID-19.
Just recently, PRC announced new dates of March-June 2020 board exams, which were set from end August to last quarter of the year.
