MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially releases results of March and September 2020 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam on Thursday, October 1 or in eight (8) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the first part of the Physician board exam on March 8 and 9, 2020 in NCR, Baguio, Cebu and Zamboanga. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the declaration of state of public health emergency throughout the country on March 11, the second part of the PLE was postponed.
In July, PRC and the Board of Medicine in coordination with the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) decided to push through the second part of the test as the country needs more doctors in strengthening the medical workforce against COVID-19.
The continuation of the PLE was held on September 20 and 21 in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
