MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing school in the November 2020 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on Wednesday, November 25 or in 7 working days.
PRC administered the second Physician board exam this year on November 10, 11, 15 and 16, 2020 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
NOTE: Due to access and connectivity difficulties caused by Typhoon Ulysses, PRC decided to cancel the second part of PLE (November 15 and 16) in Tuguegarao City.
PHYSICIAN BOARD EXAM RESULTS
Here's the performance of schools in the November 2020 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the September 2019 Physician board exams, Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health - Pasig, Cebu Institute of Medicine and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila led the schools with identical 100% passing rate, 133, 127 and 103 passers respectively. University of Santo Tomas (UST) came in second with 99.31% with 430 out of 433 passers.
In the September 2018 PLE, CIM dominated the schools with 99.33% passing rate or 149 out of 150 passed. UST took the second spot with 98.71% or 459 out of 465 passed.
In the September 2017 exams, CIM and Saint Luke's College of Medicine (SLCM) were the rank 1 top performing schools garnering 100% passing rate, 122 and 83 takers passed, respectively. West Visayas State University (WVSU) - La Paz ranked second with 99.01% or 100 out of 101 passed.
