MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the top performing schools in the January 2021 Medical Technologist (Medtech) Licensure Examination. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on February 8 or 11 working days after the exam.
PRC conducted the Medtech board exam on January 21 and 22 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The recent MTLE is for the approved examinees of the March and August 2020 Medical Technologists licensure exam only, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, regular medtech board exam is on March and August 2021.

Here's the performance of schools in the January 2021 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."

In the last Medtech board exam before the COVID-19 pandemic, September 2019, Cebu Doctors University dominated the schools with 100 takers and 100% passing rate. It was followed by Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) - Batangas with 93 out of 94 or 98.94% passing rate.
In the March 2019 MTLE, PRC named Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus (TUG) and Adventist University of the Philippines as the top performing schools, both having 100% passing rate, 127 and 72 takers respectively. Saint Louis University followed with 99.65% or 285 out of 286 passed.
