MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released result of January 2021 Medical Technologist (Medtech) board exam on February 8, 2021 or 11 working days after the exam. View here the list of top 10 passers or topnotchers.
PRC administered the resumption of medtech licensure exam (MTLE) this year on January 21 and 22 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The recent MTLE is for the approved examinees of the March and August 2020 Medical Technologists licensure exam only, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, regular medtech board exam is in March and August 2021.

In the last Medtech board exam before the pandemic, September 2019, Reiven John Borbon Bernales of University of San Agustin in Iloilo City aced the board with 90.50%. Marichu Panceras Lomotos of Silliman University came in second with 90.40%.
In the March 2019 MTLE, John Steward Buenavista Alberto of Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus (TUG) and Zairah de Leon Monjardin of Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation took the highest spot with 91.10%. Kristine Cher Calamro Abril of Trinity University of Asia followed with 90.80%.
