MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday, August 23, the cancellation of the 2021 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Overseas Filipino Workers.
PRC cited the global uncertainties caused by the surge of Delta Variant, the highly contagious strain of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) that affected worldwide, including the Middle East, resulting to implementation of border closures, travel restrictions, lockdowns and curfews.
Examinations this year has been CANCELLED in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and other Middle East countries.
"The PRC requests the public's utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by IATF-MEID as COVID-19 concerns continue to rise," the agency said.
