MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering released results of August 2021 Mechanical Engineer (ME) board exam on Tuesday, August 24 or in six (6) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the licensure exam on August 15 and 16 in the cities of Baguio, Koronadal, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga.
NOTE: PRC cancelled examinations in Manila, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro due to quarantine restrictions. Meanwhile, examinees in Davao were asked to transfer exam venue to Koronadal.

The performance of schools in the August 2021 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:

In the February 2020 Mechanical Engineer board exam, Batangas State University (BatSU) - Alangilan was named top performing school with 92.55% or 174 out of 188 passed the exams (50 or more examinees).
In the August 2019 exams, BatSU- Alangilan also led the schools with 100% passing rate or all 81 takers passed. University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman followed with 97.33% or 73 out of 75 passed.
