MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Monday the result of August 2021 Architect board exam or Licensure Examination for Architect (LEA) given by the Board of Architecture (BoA) in the cities of Baguio, Cebu, Koronadal, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
The resumption of LEA after several postponements was conducted on August 27 and 29, 2021.
Note that LEA in Manila was cancelled pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 134 dated August 19, 2021 placing the National Capital Region (NCR) under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.

In the last architect board exam before the pandemic (January 2020), University of Santo Tomas (UST) led the schools with 85.19% or 92 out of 108 passed the exams. Mapua University - Manila ranked second with 80.39% or 41 out of 51 passed.
In the June 2019 LEA, UST also topped the schools with 92.86% or 195 out of 210 passed. University of San Carlos followed with 89.69% or 87 out of 97 hurdled the tests.
