MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Accountancy released results of October 2021 Certified Public Accountant licensure exam (CPALE) on October 19, 2021 or in five (5) working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 361 out of 2,367 (15.25%) passed the exams. The results of examination with respect to five (5) examinees were withheld as per Board Resolution No. 43 dated October 19, 2021.

CPALE was conducted on October 10, 11 and 12 in the cities of Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Note: CPALE in Manila was postponed and rescheduled to December 16, 17, and 18, 2021 following the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

From November 16 to November 19, 2021, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service on official website and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE
The 3-day examination covered the following subjects: auditing and management advisory services, taxation and regulatory framework for business transactions, financial accounting and reporting and advanced financial accounting and reporting.
NOTE: The Board of Accountancy has decided that the CPA Examinations shall cover the new and old provisions of certain laws and standards. These include the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law, PFRS 9 on" "Financial instruments," and PFRS 15 on "Revenue from Contracts with Customers."
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the target release of results of the recent CPA board exam is after six (6) working days or expected on October 20.
In the last CPA board exam before the pandemic (October 2019), PRC announced results in six (6) working days. The agency named 2,075 out of 14,492 (only 14.32%) who passed the grueling exams.
In the May 2019 CPALE, results were released in five (5) working days. PRC named 1,699 out of 10,319 who successfully hurdled the series of tests.
We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Monday, October 18 or in 4 working days after the exam. Note that results may be released online ahead or beyond the target without prior notice.

- notice of admission (for identification only)
