MANILA, Philippines — LET Result 2022. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) released results of January 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or teachers board exam on Friday, March 11, 2022 or in 30 working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
PRC administered the Second Batch of LET during the COVID-19 pandemic on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in at least 30 testing centers nationwide: Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Occidental Mindoro, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Jolo, Sulu, Kidapawan, Masbate, Palawan, Romblon, and Tawi-tawi.
Examinations in Manila, Butuan, Lucena City and Romblon, previously cancelled as per recommendation by the Department of Health and in accordance with the Inter-Agency Task Force of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID), already resumed for their Batch 1 of exams.
NOTE: Due to the pandemic, PRC decided to divide LET examinees into four batches for 2021-2022 in order to meet the guidelines set by the IATF. The third and last batch of exams are scheduled on March 27, 2022 and June 26, 2022, respectively.

To pass the LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

COVERAGE OF EXAM
The program for January 2022 LET is composed of (2) parts for Elementary — General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) — and three (3) parts for Secondary — General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).
ADDITIONAL NOTE: PRC imposed limited use of calculator. Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) would require examinees to use the calculator. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021, which deals with the 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for Year 2022', the target release of January 30, 2022 LET board exam results is on Friday, March 11 or in 28 working days after the test.
Several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests may cause deviation on target release date.
With this, we advise LET takers to monitor release of results between March 7 and 25, 2022 or in 24-38 working days after the exam. From time-to-time, PRC Board News will update this page to give the exact release date.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), PRC released results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exam. A total of 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) and 10,318 secondary teachers out of 17,863 examinees (57.76%) successfully hurdled the exams.
In the last teacher's board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), PRC announced results in fifty (50) working days. A total of 28,973 elementary teachers out of 92,440 examinees (31.34%) and 54,179 secondary teachers out of 136,523 examinees (39.68%) passed the exams.
In the March 2019 LET, results were announced in forty-two (42) working days. PRC named 19,659 elementary teachers out of 72,054 examinees (27.28%) and 22,271 secondary teachers out of 85,823 examinees (25.95%) who hurdled the exams.
In the September 2018 LET, PRC announced results after fifty-two (52) working days. A total of 18,409 elementary teachers out of 90,750 examinees (20.29%) and 60,803 secondary teachers out of 126,582 examinees (48.03%) successfully hurdled the tests.

As announced, 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) and 12,074 secondary teachers out of 22,454 examinees (53.77%) successfully passed the LET.
It is further announced that of the 8,737 elementary teacher passers, 2,678 are first timers and 6,059 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 4,652 passers are first timers and 7,422 are repeaters.
The results of examination with respect to: two (2) examinees were withheld as per Board Resolution No. 06 dated March 11, 2022; five hundred forty-seven (547) examinees were withheld as per PRC Resolution No. 1484 dated March 11, 2022; and four (4) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
