MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing schools in the March 2022 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on Friday, March 18 or in four (4) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the first regular Physician board exam this year on March 6, 7, 13 and 14 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Here's the performance of schools in the March 2022 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October-November 2021 Physician licensure exams, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) topped the schools with 98.06% or 101 out of 103 passed. University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila followed with 96.30% or 78 out of 81 passed.
In the September 2021 Physician board exams, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) led the schools with 98.68% or 75 out of 76 passed. Xavier University ranked second with 91.55% or 65 out of 71 passed.
In the March 2021 Physician board exams, Far Eastern University (FEU)- Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation topped the schools with 91.76% or 167 out of 182 passed. University of Santo Tomas followed with 88.33% or 53 out of 60 passed.
In the November 2020 PLE, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) led the schools with 100% passing rate or 138 takers passed. UP - Manila came in second with 98.63% or 144 out of 146 passed the exams.
