MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing schools in the April 2022 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) board exam. The results are released on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 or in three (3) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the second board exam for electrical engineers during the COVID-19 pandemic on April 26 and 27, 2022 for REE and April 28 for RME in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

In the September 2021 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) board exam, Pangasinan State University (PSU) - Urdaneta led the schools with 96.15% passing rate or 50 out of 52 passed. University of Batangas ranked second with 91.67% or 77 out of 84 passed. PSU-Urdaneta also led the schools in the RME with 98.08% or 51 out of 52 passed.
In the last electrical engineering board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), University of Batangas (UB) and University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman were the top performing schools, both with 100% passing rate, 55 and 33 examinees passed. University of Saint Louis - Tuguegarao (USLT) followed with 98.08% or 51 out of 52 passed. Meanwhile, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) -Sto. Tomas topped the schools for RME with 100% passing rate or 55 passed.
