MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electrical Engineering (EE) released results of September 2022 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) board exam on September 9 or in four (4) working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are available here as announced online.
As announced, 2,467 out of 4,914 passed the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination and 2,433 out of 3,857 passed the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination.

The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on September 3 and 4 for REE and September 5 for RME.

COVERAGE OF EXAM
The REE board exam covered the following subjects: mathematics, engineering sciences and allied subjects (September 3) and electrical engineering professional subjects (September 4).
For RME exams, it covered technical subjects ( i.e. basic electricity, test equipment and electrical measurements) and Philippine Electrical Code (September 5).
The passing general weighted average rating is seventy percent (70%) with no grade below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021, the target release of results for the recent Electrical Engineer board exam is on Thursday, September 15 or in eight (8) working days after the series of exams.
However, results may be released ahead or on later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the April 2022 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, results were released by PRC in three (3) working days after the last day of examinations. A total of 3,029 out of 5,567 passed the REE while 1,717 out of 3,712 passed the RME.
In the September 2021 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, PRC released results in seven (7) working days. A total of 1,668 out of 2,590 passed the REE while 1,506 out of 2,233 passed the REE.
In the last REE and RME board exams before the pandemic, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 3,285 out of 4,891 Registered Electrical Engineers and 2,634 out of 4,424 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations.
