LET RESULT: October 2022 teachers board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines — LET Result 2022. (Released December 16, 2022) The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) released results of October 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or teachers board exam on December 16, 2022 or in fifty-six (56) working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

As announced, 49,783 out of 91,468 (54.43%) passed the elementary level while 71,080 out of 139,534 (50.94%) passed the secondary level.

It is further announced that of the 49,783 elementary teacher passers, 29,183 are first timers and 20,600 are repeaters.

For the secondary teachers, 50,549 passers are first timers and 20,531 are repeaters.

The results of examination with respect to forty-six (46) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

PRC administered the regular LET on Sunday, October 2, 2022 in at least 34 testing centers nationwide and in Bangkok, Thailand.

The examination was originally set on September 25, 2022 but was rescheduled to a week after.

Testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cauayan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bohol and Dumaguete.

The agency also designated additional test centers to accommodate more examinees and avoid unnecessary distant travel: Antique, Bacolod, Kidapawan, Masbate, Bayambang in Pangasinan, Catanduanes, Catarman, Digos, Mati, Tagum, Butuan, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Puerto Princesa (Palawan), Boac (Marinduque), Romblon and San Jose (Occidental Mindoro).

The members of the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.

October 2022 LET Passers Secondary

To pass the LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be open on the following dates:

• February 16-17, February 20-24 and February 27-28
• March 1-3 and March 6-7
• March 8-10 and March 13-14
• March 15-17 and March 20-24
• March 27-31, April 3-4 and April 11–14
• April 17-20 and April 24-28

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:

• Notice of Admission (for identification only)
• downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
• two sets of documentary stamps
• 1 piece short brown envelope.

PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The program for October 2022 LET is composed of (2) parts for Elementary — General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) — and three (3) parts for Secondary — General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).

ADDITIONAL NOTE: PRC imposed limited use of calculator. Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) would require examinees to use the calculator. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021, which deals with the 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for Year 2022', the target release of September/October 2022 LET board exam result is 51 working days after the test or can be expected on Friday, December 16, 2022.

Several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests may cause deviation on target release date.

With this, we advise LET takers to monitor release of results between December 15 and 19, 2022 or in 50-52 working days after the exam. From time-to-time, PRC Board News will update this page to give the exact release date.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), the PRC released results in 30 working days. The agency named 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) and 10,193 secondary teachers out of 20,191 examinees (50.48%) who passed the exams.

During the Batch 3 LET, results were released earlier than expected or only twenty-five (25) days after the exams. PRC named 10,039 elementary teachers out of 20,567 examinees (48.81%) and 7,809 secondary teachers out of 18,717 examinees (41.72%) successfully passed the teachers board exam.

During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), PRC announced results in thirty (30) working days. A total of 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) and 12,074 secondary teachers out of 22,454 examinees (53.77%) passed the tests.

During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), PRC released results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exam. A total of 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) and 10,318 secondary teachers out of 17,863 examinees (57.76%) successfully hurdled the exams.

In the last teacher's board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), PRC announced results in fifty (50) working days. A total of 28,973 elementary teachers out of 92,440 examinees (31.34%) and 54,179 secondary teachers out of 136,523 examinees (39.68%) passed the exams.

In the March 2019 LET, results were announced in forty-two (42) working days. PRC named 19,659 elementary teachers out of 72,054 examinees (27.28%) and 22,271 secondary teachers out of 85,823 examinees (25.95%) who hurdled the exams.

LET RESULT UPDATES

PRC Board News will constantly update this page for the reliable and relevant information before the release of most awaited LET results. Followers of this page may get the exact release date in few days or hours before the release of results.

December 14, 2022 Update: LET results are expected to be released in just few days from today. Source says there's no delay in the release of results.

December 12, 2022 Update: Review center owner Dr. Carl Balita said takers may expect to wait for one more week for the release of LET results. He clarified that results will not come out on the 11th day but it will be 'K' when the results come out. Takers are now speculating of December 19 (Monday) release of LET results.

December 10, 2022 Update: Reliable source confirmed that LET results will be released anytime soon.
