MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, October 25, released the results of October 2022 Chemist and Chemical Technician board exam given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Koronadal, Pampanga, Tacloban and Zamboanga.
PRC and the Board of Chemistry, composed of Ms. Adoracion P. Resurreccion, Chairman; Ms. Soledad S. Castañeda and Ms. Ma. Theresa C. Cayton, Members, administered the Chemist board exam on October 17 and 18 and Chemical Technician on October 19.

In the October 2021 Chemistry board exam, University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or 8 takers passed. Adamson University, UPLB, and Mindanao State University - Marawi City tied were the top performing schools in Chemical Technician exam with 100% passing rate, 46, 43, and 32 passers, respectively.
In the October 2019 Chemistry board exam, University of the Philippines (UP)- Diliman led the schools with 93.44% or 57 out of 61 passed. Meanwhile, Visayas State University-Baybay was the lone top performing school in the Chemical Technician board exam with 100% passing rate or all its 57 takers passed.
In the October 2018 exams, UP- Diliman was the lone top performing school in the Chemist board exams with 92.19% (59 out of 64 passed). Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Visayas dominated the schools in the Chemical Technician board exams with 100% passing rate or all of its 53 examinees passed.

According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021, the target release of recent Chemist board exam results is on Thursday, October 27 or in six (6) working days after the last day of exam.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Monday, October 24.
