MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the topnotchers or top 10 passers in the October 2022 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam as results are released on October 14, 2022 or in four (4) working days after the last day of exam.
The Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) administered the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on October 8 and 9, 2022 for ECE and October 10 for ECT.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Thursday, October 13.

In the April 2022 Electronics Engineering board exam, Eugene Loreno Filomeno from Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)-Lucban aced the ECE board with 92.10%. Gabriel Jeiyo Mangalino Gob from University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the ECT with 94.00%.
In the October 2021 Electronics Engineering board exam, David XYZ Temple Callena from University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) - Davao City topped the ECE board with 92.80%. Mark Justine Ramos Cudiamat from University of Batangas aced the ECT board exam with 95.00%.
In the last Electronics Engineer board exam before the pandemic (October 2019), Neil Kenneth Tamina Mendoza from University of Santo Tomas (UST) led the ECE and ECT takers with 92.00% and 94.00%, respectively.
In the April 2019 ECE board exams, Malcolm Leeland Paraz Kwok from De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila led the passers with 90.70%. Jonas Angelo Ona Bicol from University of Batangas earned the highest spot in the ECT board exam with 95.00%.
