NLE RESULT: November 2022 nursing board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Nursing (BoN) released results of November 2022 nurse licensure examination (NLE) or nursing board exam on November 29, 2022 or in 12 working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

As announced, 18,529 out of 24,903 (74.40%) passed the exams.

PRC administered the nursing board exam on November 12 and 13, 2022 in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Elsie A. Tee, Chairman; Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Elizabeth C. Lagrito, Zenaida C. Gagno, Marylou B. Ong, Merle L. Salvani and Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz, Members.

Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam Results Nov 2022


REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

On January 9 - 13, January 16 - 20 & January 23 - 27, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • Notice of admission
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

According to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.”

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

NLE's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The November 2022 nursing board exam has drawn basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e. Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, adults and aged and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

The examination tested competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows:

1. Patient Care Competencies (safe and quality nursing care, communication, collaboration and teamwork, health education)

2. Empowering Competencies (legal responsibilities, ethico-moral spiritual responsibilities and personal and professional development)

3. Enabling competencies (management of resources and enviromment and records management)

4. Enhancing competencies (research and quality improvement)

NLE is compposed of five (5) parts namely:
  • Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
  • Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)

RELEASE OF NLE RESULTS

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021, the target release of nurse board exam results is on Friday, December 2, 2022 or in 14 working days after the exams.

However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor release of results between November 24 and December 2 or in 9-14 working days after the exams.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the May 2022 Nursing Licensure Exams, PRC announced results in nine (9) working days. A total of 6,616 out of 9,729 passed the exams. Keziah Kyleen Galit Gonzales from Emilio Aguinaldo College - Manila and Nora Jane Bacarisas Staveley from Our Lady of Fatima University - Valenzuela topped the board with identical grade of 90.00%.

In the November 2021 Nursing Licensure Exams, PRC released results in twelve (12) working days. A total of 6,086 out of 11,828 passed the exams. Kiarra Belle Arante Poblador from Silliman University aced the board with 89.40%.

In the July 2021 NLE, PRC released results after ten (10) working days. A total of 5,008 out of 7,746 successfully hurdled the exams. Haydee Soriano Bacani from Philippine Women's University - Manila got the highest place with 89.40%.

In the November 2019 NLE, PRC announced results after fourteen (14) working days. A total of 7,627 out of 13,816 successfuly passed the exams. Shaina Kei Cruiz Watanabe from Davao Doctors College, Inc. led the passers with 89.60%.

In the June 2019 exams, results were out online after twelve (12) working days. PRC named 5,059 out of 9,691 who passed the board exams. Jeremiah Paula Austria Caceres from Angeles University Foundation and Almira Louise Olete Hinsoy from WVSU - La Paz aced the board with identical grade of 87.40%.

  5. pang 7 times kona ahay naka abroad nalang ako at nag tratrabaho sa hospital hinde parin ako pumasa araw araw n akong nag aaral lintek na exam na eto iba yung lumalabas na tanong wala sa libro. saan nang ggaling ang question nyo sa imagination nyo. Bakit parehas bah tayu ng judgement . Kung parehas tayu ng judgement mahirap pa ako sa Daga ngayun. Mamatay ka na sa pag aaral . At mamatay kapa s gutom ang liit liit ng sweldo hinde aasenso ang pilipinas at mga Tao dyan. pinapahirapan pa ang liit naman ng sweldo. pinakita ko s kasama ko ang mg example na tanong sa NLE ano daw klase mga tanong yan pinag tawanan lang pinag tatawanan kasi parang mg tanga daw ang gumawa ng exam. Wala nang pag asa dyan .alis na kayu dyan

  6. ano na na kaya ang gagawin ko bagsak nanaman ako sayang ang pinag aralan ko effort sacrifices time at ang gastos n napakalaki ano nangangyayari sa akin nag kaka anxiety nako minsan na isip ko na mag suicide dahil failure ako sira n talaga ang buhay ko dahil sa exam nato. mainam pa n mamatay kesa bumagsak sa exam nato
