MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released results of April 2023 Midwifery licensure exam (MLE) on Wednesday, April 19 or in three (3) working days after the last day of exam.

PRC administered the Midwife board exams on April 13 and 14, 2023 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

In the November 2022 Midwife Licensure Examination, Jonathan Calunsag Gatela Jr. from University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences-Leyte earned the top spot with 90.10%. Marielle Luceño Oberio from Iloilo Doctors' College came in second place with 90.05%.
In the April 2022 Midwifery board exam, Ma Isabelle Navales Donsol from Davao Medical School Foundation led the passers with 89.95%. Hyacinth Pacano Bueno from Isabela State University -Iligan ranked second with 89.55%.
In the November 2021 Midwife Licensure Examination, Yesa Papa Garganera from Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery aced the board with 89.80%. Veronica Badilla Dumaran from Bohol Island State University - Calape came in second spot with 89.45%.
In the November 2019 Midwife board exams, Mhenrada Kulayan Bandahala from Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery topped the board with 90.95%. Maricol Urian Canillo from Lyceum of Aparri followed with 89.75%.
In the April 2019 Midwifr exams, Melanie May Misal Cuba and Thinkerbell Maranan Lafuerte, both from Mabini College-Daet, led the passers with 88.80%. Brenda Penaflorida Pangantihon from New Lucena Polytechnic College came in second with 88.65%.
In the November 2018 exams, Excelsia Rebeka Maree Lobete Basco from Immaculate Conception College - Albay led the passers with 90.75%. Darlene Villanueva Mendoza from Brokenshire College - Socsksargen, Inc ranked second with 90.30%.
