MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Accountancy released results of May 2023 Certified Public Accountant licensure exam (CPALE) on May 30, 2023 or in five (5) working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 2,239 out of 7,376 (30.36%) successfully passed the exams.

The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending completion of the remaining subjects in the licensure examination; and two (2) were withheld for validation of submitted documents.
PRC administered the licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on May 21, 22 and 23, 2023.

On July 12 - 14, July 17 - 21 and July 24 - 25, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC added.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service on official website and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

The 3-day examination covered the following subjects: auditing and management advisory services, taxation and regulatory framework for business transactions, financial accounting and reporting and advanced financial accounting and reporting.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of May 2023 CPA board exam results is on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 or in five (5) working days after the last day of exam.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor results between May 26 and June 2, 2023 or in 3-8 working days.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the October 2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam, PRC released results in eight (8) working days. A total of 1,722 out of 6,665 hurled the grueling exam.
In the December 2021 CPA board exam, PRC announced results after seven (7) working days. The agency named 318 out of 1,454 (21.87%) who passed the exams.
In the October 2021 CPA board exams, PRC announced results in five (5) working days. Only 361 out of 2,367 (15.25%) passed the exams.
In the October 2019 exams, PRC announced results in six (6) working days. The agency named 2,075 out of 14,492 (only 14.32%) who passed the grueling exams.
In the May 2019 CPALE, results were also released in 5 working days. PRC named 1,699 out of 10,319 who successfully hurdled the series of tests.

- notice of admission (for identification only)
