MANILA, Philippines — The March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) results for Elementary level are available here as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, May 19 or in forty-two (42) working days.
As announced, 24,819 elementary teachers out of 60,896 examinees (40.76%) passed the the March 2023 LET.
It is further announced that of the 24,819 elementary teacher passers, 19,390 are first timers and 5,429 are repeaters.
The results of examination with respect to six (6) examinees were withheld for further validation of their submitted documents; and twenty-five (25) examinees were withheld for final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
PRC administered the first regular teachers board exam this year on Sunday, March 19 in at least 37 testing centers nationwide. It was originally set on March 26, 2023 but was moved on earlier date due to conflict on schedule with the civil service exams.
The agency previously set May 26, 2023 target release of LET results based on original schedule. But due to adjustment on examination date, releasing of results is expected to be moved a week before.
NOTE: Recent development and updates from reliable sources claim that LET results are expected to be released on Friday, May 19.

An examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests to pass the LET.
In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2022 massive Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC was able to release results after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 49,783 elementary teachers out of 91,468 examinees (54.43%) successfully passed the exams.
In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), the PRC released results in 30 working days. The agency named 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) who passed the exams.
During the Batch 3 LET, results were released earlier than expected or only twenty-five (25) days after the exams. PRC named 10,039 elementary teachers out of 20,567 examinees (48.81%) who successfully passed the teachers board exam.
During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), PRC announced results in thirty (30) working days. A total of 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) passed the tests.
During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), PRC released results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exam. A total of 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) successfully hurdled the exams.
