MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Chemical Engineering released results of October 2023 Chemical Engineer (ChemEng) board exam on October 20, 2023 or in four (4) working days after the last day of examinations. The official list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 651 out of 927 (70.23%) passed the exams.
PRC administered the Chemical Engineer licensure exam (CELE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Iloilo, Davao, Legazpi, Cagayan de Oro, Rosales and Cebu on October 14, 15 and 16, 2023.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: December 13 - 15 and December 18 - 19, 2023
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The three-day examination covered the following subjects: physical and chemical principles, chemical engineering principles and general engineering, ethics and contracts.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of results for the recent ChemEng board exam is on October 18, 2023 or after two (2) working days.
Note that results may be released ahead or on later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the May 2023 Chemical Engineer board exams, PRC announced results in two (2) working days. A total of 472 out of 801 passed the exams. Christian Jay Pagunuran Balboa from De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila clinched the highest place with 92.60%.
In the October 2022 Chemical Engineer board exam, PRC released results in three (3) working days. A total of 531 out of 1,036 passed the exams. Jerome Ignatius Tan Garces from De La Salle University - Manila led the passers with 89.30%.
In the May 2022 Chemical Engineer board exams, PRC also announced results in 3 working days. A total of 585 out of 1,032 passed the exams. Richmond Caya Pepito from University of San Carlos topped the board with 86.90%.
In the October 2021 Chemical Engineer board exams, PRC announced results after four (4) working days. A total of 321 out of 679 successfully hurdled the exams. Al Christian Regorgo Gobres from UP - Diliman grabbed the highest spot with 84.00%.

- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
