MANILA, Philippines — LET Result 2023. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) released results of September 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or teachers board exam on Thursday, December 7, 2023 or in fifty-five (55) working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 23,782 elementary teachers out of 50,593 examinees (47.01%) and 53,995 secondary teachers out of 95,969 examinees (56.26%) successfully passed the exams.
It's a lucky day indeed as a total of 77,777 out of 146,562 (53.07%) passed September 2023 LET.
It is further announced that of the 23,782 elementary teacher passers, 16,716 are first timers and 7,066 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 39,979 passers are first timers and 14,016 are repeaters.
The results of examination with respect to three (3) examinees were withheld for further validation of their submitted documents; and fourteen (14) examinees were withheld for final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
PRC administered the regular LET on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in at least 40 testing centers nationwide and in Bangkok, Thailand.
Testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The agency also designated additional test centers to accommodate more examinees and avoid unnecessary distant travel: Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Sta. Cruz (Laguna), Tagum, Oroquieta, Valencia (Bukidnon).
The members of the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.
LET RESULTS SUMMARY
In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.

PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The program for September 2023 LET is composed of (2) parts for Elementary — General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) — and three (3) parts for Secondary — General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).
ADDITIONAL NOTE: PRC imposed limited use of calculator. Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) would require examinees to use the calculator. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, the target release of September 2023 LET board exam result is on December 7, 2023 (Thursday) or 50 working days after the test.
Several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests may cause deviation on target release date.
With this, we advise LET takers to monitor release of results between November 21 and December 7, 2023 or in 40-50 working days. From time-to-time, PRC Board News will update this page for the exact release date from reliable sources.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC announced results in forty-two (42) working days. The agency named 24,819 elementary teachers out of 60,896 examinees (40.76%) and 48,005 secondary teachers out of 102,272 examinees (46.94%) who successfully passed the exams.
In the October 2022 massive Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC was able to release results after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 49,783 elementary teachers out of 91,468 examinees (54.43%) and 71,080 secondary teachers out of 139,534 examinees (50.94%) successfully passed the exams.
In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), the PRC released results in 30 working days. The agency named 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) and 10,193 secondary teachers out of 20,191 examinees (50.48%) who passed the exams.
During the Batch 3 LET, results were released earlier than expected or only twenty-five (25) days after the exams. PRC named 10,039 elementary teachers out of 20,567 examinees (48.81%) and 7,809 secondary teachers out of 18,717 examinees (41.72%) successfully passed the teachers board exam.
During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), PRC announced results in thirty (30) working days. A total of 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) and 12,074 secondary teachers out of 22,454 examinees (53.77%) passed the tests.
During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), PRC released results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exam. A total of 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) and 10,318 secondary teachers out of 17,863 examinees (57.76%) successfully hurdled the exams.
In the last teacher's board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), PRC announced results in fifty (50) working days. A total of 28,973 elementary teachers out of 92,440 examinees (31.34%) and 54,179 secondary teachers out of 136,523 examinees (39.68%) passed the exams.

December 7, 2023 Update: In a Facebook Live of review center owner Dr. Carl Balita, he mentioned the possibility of delay on the releasing of LET results. Further explained that in some cases that results are already available but signatories are not yet complete, PRC will not release the results. This happened to the recent nursing board exam, in which, results were out evening of the following day.

- Notice of Admission (for identification only)
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- two sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope.
