MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the topnotchers or top 10 passers in the October 2023 Geodetic Engineer (GE) board exam.
The Board of Geodetic Engineering administered the Geodetic Engineer licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 25 and 26, 2023.

In the October 2022 Geodetic Engineer board exam, Ronald Estrada Diaz Jr from University of Southeastern Philippines - Davao City topped the board with 92.40%. Paul Henry Torrigue Camacho from University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman came in second with 91.00%.
In the March 2022 GELE for the postponed Cebu exam, Hannah Mae Ponce Gomez from Negros Oriental State University - Dumaguete was the lone topnotcher with 90.20%.
In the December 2021 board exam, Christian Janlois Arguelles Noriega, from UP-Diliman, led the passers with 91.80%. Gian Nathan Acurantes Tongco, also from UP-Diliman, came in second with 91.00%.
In the October 2019 Geodetic Engineer board exam, Charlene Gallentes Bolastig from Caraga State University (CSU) - Butuan City topped the board with 91.20%. Lemuel John Atenta Bagtas from UP-Diliman followed with 88.60%.
In the October 2018 board exams, Kristian Rabi Monay from University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman aced the board with 90.00%. Abel Nino Manguilimotan Ulson of Visayas State University - Baybay ranked second spot with 88.60%.
In the October 2017 exams, Jonel Genon Vernante of Caraga State University (CSU) - Butuan City led the passers with 89.00%. Gene Johanno Arriola Nieto, also from UP-Diliman, followed with 88.80%.
