ALE RESULTS: January 2024 Architect board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Architecture (BoA) released result of January 2024 Architect board exam or Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 or in three (3) working days after the exam. The official list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

As announced, 1,809 out of 2,933 (61.68%) passed the exams.

The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

PRC administered the licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on January 24 and 26, 2024.

The Board of Architecture who gave the licensure exam is headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac with two other members, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente and Arch. Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc.

Starting March 18, 2024, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

• duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• notice of admission (for identification only)
• 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
• 2 sets of documentary stamps
• 1 piece short brown envelope
• proof of membership issued by the Accredited Integrated Professional Organization

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the said licensure examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

The two-day exam covered the following subjects: history and theory of architecture, principle of planning and architecture practice, utilities systems, structural conceptualization, building materials and construction, and architectural design and site planning.

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1728 s. 2023, the target release of Architect board exam result is on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 or in three (3) working days after the tests.

However, results are possible to be released ahead of the target or on later date, without prior notice.

In the June 2023 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE), PRC released results in three (3) working days. A total of 2,924 out of 4,784 passed the examinations.

In the January 2023 ALE, PRC announced results in 3 working days. A total of 1,980 out of 3,473 passed the exams.

In the June 2022 Architect board exam, results were also out in 3 working days. A total of 3,037 out of 4,766 passed the exams.

In the January 2022 ALE, results were made available online in four (4) working days. PRC named 1,370 out of 2,205 who passed the exams.
