MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases room assignments and instructions for the April 2024 Pharmacy Licensure Examination (PhLE).
The first Pharmacist board exam this year will be conducted in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on April 16 and 17.
Update: PRC announced on April 11 that Legazpi, Tacloban, and Pagadian have been removed as testing centers in the conduct of the April 2024 PhLE.

Where to check or verify room assignments?
Check or verify your school/building assignments at the PRC official website (www.prc.gov.ph) or through the Notices/Announcements to be posted at the PRC premises two (2) to three (3) working days before the date of the examination.

What time should examinees report to the testing centers?
Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 A.M. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted once the examination has already started.
What to wear on examination day?
Examinees are required to wear the following attire every examination day:
Male examinees: White polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo or mark); decent pants or slacks
Female examinees: White blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo or mark); decent slacks or skirt
What should examinees bring in the examination?
Bring the following on examination day:
a. Notice of Admission
b. Official Receipt
c. Two or more pencils (No. 2)
d. Ballpens with BLACK ink only
e. One (1) piece long brown envelope
f. One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
g. One (1) piece mailing envelope
h. Only one (1) basic calculator shall be allowed inside the examination room. A basic calculator is one which only contains the keys for the basic functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). It may also have the memory keys (M+, M-, MR, MC and √)
Note: Examinees may use basic calculator for the PHARMACEUTICAL CALCULATIONS only.
What are the prohibited items inside the examination room?
The following items are strictly PROHIBITED inside the examination premises/rooms.
a. Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula.
b. APPLE, SAMSUNG AND OTHER SMARTWATCHES, CELLULAR PHONES, EARPLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, BLUETOOTH, AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS/DEVICES WHICH MAY BE USED FOR COMMUNICATION PURPOSES
c. Bags of any kind (ladies bag, shoulder bags, atache case, backpacks, etc.)
d. Other examination aides not stated on this program.
Note: All personal belongings of the examinees shall be surrendered to the proctor and shall be placed in a secured space within the examination room.

When are the results of Pharmacy board exam released?
Examination results are released at an average of three (3) working days after the last day of examination.
For the April 2024 Pharmacy board exam, PRC aims to release results on April 23, 2024 (Tuesday) or after four (4) working days.
