MANILA, Philippines — The March 2024 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) results for Elementary level are available here once released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on May 24 or in 47 working days after the exam.
As announced, a total of 71,429 out of 130,744 (54.63%) hurdled the March 2024 LET.
PRC named 20,890 elementary teachers out of 44,764 examinees (46.67) who successfully passed the exams.
It is further announced that of the 20,890 elementary teacher passers, 17,561 are first timers and 3,329 are repeaters.
The results of examination with respect to thirty-six (36) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
UPDATE: On May 9, PRC informed the public that the target date of release of the March 2024 LET results has been moved from May 20, 2024 to May 24, 2024.
PRC administered the first regular teachers board exam this year on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in at least 36 testing centers nationwide.

Roll of Successful Examinees in the

An examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests to pass the LET.
In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Notice of Admission (for identification only)
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- two sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope.
PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the September 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC released results in fifty-five (55) working days after the exams. A total of 23,782 elementary teachers out of 50,593 examinees (47.01%) successfully passed the exams.
In the March 2023 LET, PRC announced results in forty-two (42) working days. The agency named 24,819 elementary teachers out of 60,896 examinees (40.76%) who successfully passed the exams.
In the October 2022 LET, PRC was able to release results after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 49,783 elementary teachers out of 91,468 examinees (54.43%) successfully passed the exams.
In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), the PRC released results in 30 working days. The agency named 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) who passed the exams.
During the Batch 3 LET, results were released earlier than expected or only twenty-five (25) days after the exams. PRC named 10,039 elementary teachers out of 20,567 examinees (48.81%) who successfully passed the teachers board exam.
During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), PRC announced results in thirty (30) working days. A total of 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) passed the tests.
During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), PRC released results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exam. A total of 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) successfully hurdled the exams.
