MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday that 640 out of 928 (68.97%) passed the May 2024 Chemical Engineers (ChemEng) Licensure Examination.
PRC administered the exams in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena on May 21,22 and 23. In an advisory, the agency removed testing locations in Rosales, Cagayan De Oro, and Davao for this particular exam.
University of the Philippines - Diliman (UPD) and De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila were hailed top performing schools with 100% passing rate, 28 and 11 passers, respectively.
Miguel Siapno Bungalon from University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) aced the board with 87.30%. Patrick Jay Buenviaje Garcia from Mapua University - Manila came in second place with 85.90%.
Registration and oathtaking
Starting July 5, 2024, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.
Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
