SPLE Result: 2 pass June 2024 MedTech special exams

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2 out of 15 (13.33%) passed the June 2024 Medical Technologists (MedTech) Special Professional Licensure Examination.

The exam was given by the Board of Medical Technology in: Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and Doha, Qatar last June 16 and 17, 2024.

The members of the Board of Medical Technology who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Marilyn A. Cabal-Barza, Chairman and Dr. Leila Lany M. Florento, Member.

Note: Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician.

The performance of schools in the June 2024 Medical Technologist (SPLE) in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:


REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag),
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Aside from MedTech, the SPLE was also conducted for Filipino architects, chemical engineers, chemists, civil engineers, electronics engineers, electronics technicians, environmental planners, geodetic engineers, master plumbers, mechanical engineers, certified plant mechanics, midwives, nurses, psychometricians, radiologic technologists and X-ray technologists, social workers, teachers, registered electrical engineers, registered master electricians, respiratory therapists, and veterinarians in the Middle East and Singapore.
