MANILA, Philippines – ME RESULT 2024. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering released results of August 2024 Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 or in five (5) working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 1,144 out of 3,485 (32.83%) passed the exams.
PRC administered the licensure exams in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao on August 16, 17 and 18, 2024.

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting September 18, 2024
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
ME board exam covered the following subjects: industrial and power plant engineering (Day 1); mathematics, engineering economics and basic engineering services, machine design, materials and shop practice (Day 2).
Meanwhile, CPM exams covered the following: elements of power plant machinery, shop machinery practice (Day 1) and elements of industrial plant machinery (Day 2).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1836 s. 2024, the target release of Mechanical Engineer board exam results is on Friday, August 23 or in five (5) working days after the exam.
But with the government's declaration of transferring the observance of the Ninoy Aquino Day to August 23, it is possible that PRC will release results prior to the said date or on later time without prior notice.
We advise takers to monitor announcement of results between Thursday, August 22 and Tuesday, August 27 or in 4-5 working days.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the February 2024 Mechanical Engineer (ME) board exam, PRC announced results in three (3) working days. A total of 4,458 out of 6,770 successfully hurdled the exams. The agency also said that 65 out of 108 passed the CPM Licensure Examination.
In the August 2023 ME board exam, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 2,133 out of 4,237 successfully passed the exams. Meanwhile, 104 out of 187 hurdled the CPM board exams.
In the February 2023 ME board exam, PRC announced results in three (3) working days. The agency listed 3,774 out of 6,070 who passed the ME board and 65 out of 90 passed the CPM board exams.
In the August 2022 ME board exam, results were released in six (6) working days after the last day of examinations. PRC named 3,184 out of 5,880 who passed the ME board exam and 140 out of 174 who have passed the CPM board exams.

This board exam is one of difficult mechanical engineering licensure exam ever. So I think more or less 30% only ang passing. Hoping na kasama pangalan doon. In Jesus name.
