MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informed the public on Friday, September 20, of the revised schedule of board examinations from October to December 2024.
The agency issued PRC Resolution No. 1891 series of 2024 in accordance with Republic Act No. 8981 empowering the PRC "to determine and fix the places and dates of examinations."
In the new resolution, PRC increased the number of testing centers for the remaining board exams this year.
The agency previously issued Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023, setting the schedule of licensure exam for Year 2024, including the opening of online processing, deadline of filing applications, practical examinations and target release of results.
But due to the unforeseen administrative and logistical challenges encountered in the conduct of board exams, the Commission subsequently issued Resolution No. 1836 (s. 2024) which limited the testing centers to four (4) strategic locations - the National Capital Region (NCR) and the cities of Baguio, Cebu and Davao.
PRC said they already managed and resolved the aforementioned challenges in coordination with other government offices.
