MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the results of October 2024 Chemist and Chemical Technician board exam given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban and Zamboanga.
PRC and the Board of Chemistry, composed of Hon. Adoracion P. Resurreccion, Chairman; Hon. Soledad S. Castañeda and Hon. Ma. Theresa C. Cayton, Members, administered the Chemist board exam on October 14 and 15, 2024 and Chemical Technician on October 16, 2024.

In the December 2023 Chemist Licensure Exams, University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman was the lone top performing school with 83.08% or 54 out of 65 passed. Technological University of the Philippines (TUP)-Visayas and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila were the top performing schools with identical passing rate of 100% in the Chemical Technician board exams.
In the December 2022 Chemist board exams, University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) was the lone top performing school with 82.35% or 42 out of 51 passed. Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Visayas was the lone top performing school with 100% passing rate or all 65 of its takers passed in the Chemical Technician board exam.
In the October 2021 Chemistry board exam, University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or 8 takers passed. Adamson University, UPLB, and Mindanao State University - Marawi City tied were the top performing schools in Chemical Technician exam with 100% passing rate, 46, 43, and 32 passers, respectively.
In the October 2019 Chemistry board exam, University of the Philippines (UP)- Diliman led the schools with 93.44% or 57 out of 61 passed. Meanwhile, Visayas State University-Baybay was the lone top performing school in the Chemical Technician board exam with 100% passing rate or all its 57 takers passed.

According to PRC Resolution No. 1891 series of 2024, the target release of recent Chemist board exam results is on Monday, October 21 or in three (3) working days after the last day of exam.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
