MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing schools in the October 2024 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on October 18 or in three (3) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the second regular Physician board exam this year on October 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2024 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the October 2024 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the April 2024 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center was the top performing school with 89.23% or 58 out of 65 passed. University of Santo Tomas (UST) came in second with 84.85% or 56 out of 66 passed.
In the October 2023 PLE, University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila topped the schools with 97.62% or 164 out of 168 passed. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) came in second with 97.32% or 109 out of 112 passed.
In the March 2023 Physician board exams, UST was the lone top performing school with 83.61% or 51 out of 61 passed.
In the October 2022 PLE, Angeles University Foundation (AUF) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 51 takers passed. PLM came in second with 97.22% or 105 out of 108 passed.
