MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to release on Friday, December 13, 2024 the complete results of September 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) or Teachers board exam. The alphabetical list of passers for Secondary level (L-N surname) is available here as released online.
PRC conducted the second regular LET this year on Sunday, September 29, 2024 in at least 38 testing centers nationwide and in Bangkok, Thailand.
Testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
PRC also designated additional test centers to accommodate more examinees and avoid unnecessary distant travel: Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro (Calapan), Palawan, Romblon and Tagum.

Passers of the recent LET are those who obtained an average rating of not less than 75% and have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
The schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for Elementary and Secondary level exams will be posted here once results are out online.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Notice of Admission (for identification only)
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- two sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope.
PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
RELEASE DATE AND UPDATES
According to PRC Resolution No. 1836 series of 2024, the target release of September 2024 LET board exam result is on December 13, 2024 (Friday) or 49 working days after the test.
Note that the government work was cancelled on October 14 and 15 due to the opening of Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction and on October 23, 24 and 25 due to the effects of Tropical Storm “Kristine”.
Several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests may cause deviation on target release date.
