MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Accountancy are expected to release results of December 2024 Certified Public Accountant licensure exam (CPALE) between December 11 and 16, 2024 or in 3-6 working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
PRC administered the licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on December 6-8, 2024.
The examination was originally scheduled on October 25-27, 2024 but was postponed due to the onslaught of severe tropical storm "Kristine", which affected examinees and various testing centers nationwide.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC added.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service on official website and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
EXAM COVERAGE
The 3-day examination covered the following subjects: auditing and management advisory services, taxation and regulatory framework for business transactions, financial accounting and reporting and advanced financial accounting and reporting.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
PRC is yet to announce the exact or target date of release of December 2024 CPALE results. But typically, examination results are released at an average of 3 days after the last exam day.
Based on the initial schedule of exams (October 2024), PRC was targeting release of results after six (6) working days. This is according to PRC Resolution No. 1891 series of 2024. Note that the projection may change depending on the actual number of examinees.
With these, we advise takers to monitor results starting Wednesday, December 11, 2024 or in three (3) working days until Monday, December 16, 2024 or in six (6) working days.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the May 2024 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE), PRC was able to release results in three (3) working days. A total of 3,155 out of 10,421 passed the exams.
In the May 2023 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam, PRC announced results in five (5) working days. A total of 2,239 out of 7,376 successfully passed the exams.
In the October 2022 CPA board exam, PRC released results in eight (8) working days. A total of 1,722 out of 6,665 hurled the grueling exam.
In the December 2021 CPA board exam, PRC announced results after seven (7) working days. The agency named 318 out of 1,454 (21.87%) who passed the exams.
In the October 2021 CPA board exams, PRC announced results in 5 working days. Only 361 out of 2,367 (15.25%) passed the exams.
