MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Medicine will release the complete result of March and April 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam on Monday, April 14, 2025, or four (4) working days after the exam.
The March-April 2025 PLE Results include the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools, performance of schools, and the schedule of registration and oathtaking.
PRC administered the first regular Physician board exam this year on March 30 and 31 and April 6 and 7, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Chairman; Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Efren C. Laxamana and Dr. Joanna V. Remo, Members.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the March and April 2025 Physician board exam results will be released on Monday, April 14, 2025, or four (4) working days.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The four-day medical board examination covered the following subjects:
Day 1: Biochemistry; Anatomy and Histology; Microbiology and Parasitology
Day 2: Physiology; Legal Medicine, Ethics, and Medical Jurisprudence; Pathology
Day 3: Pharmacology and Therapeutics; Surgery; Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, and Rhinology; Internal Medicine
Day 4: Obstetrics and Gynecology; Pediatrics and Nutrition; Preventive Medicine and Public Health
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the October 2024 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), PRC released results in three (3) working days after the exams. The agency named 3,845 out of 6,600 who successfully passed the exams. Isaac Edron Jones Orig from Davao Medical School Foundation topped the board with 89.33%.
In the April 2024 PLE, PRC also announced results in 3 working days after the exams. A total of 1,906 out of 3,434 passed the exams. Christopher Niño Duane Camay Mendoza from Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Inc. aced the board with 89.25%.
In the October 2023 PLE, PRC released results in seven (7) working days after the exams. A total of 4,083 out of 6,456 successfully passed the exams. Justin Riley Yap Lam from Cebu Institute of Medicine led the passers with 89.00%.
In the March 2023 Physician board exam, PRC announced results in 3 working days from the last day of examination. A total of 1,573 out of 2,887 successfully passed the exams. Aira Cassandra Suguitan Castro from Mariano Marcos State University - Batac led the passers with 89.00%.
In the October 2022 PLE, PRC released results in six (6) working days. A total of 3,826 out of 5,958 passed the exams. Justin Adriel Zent Gautier Togonon from University of the Philippines (UP)-Manila aced the board with 89.00%.
